This page explains how your personal data is handled when you visit novosim.com or get in touch with us. In short: our website does not track you and uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) is:
Novosim Mühendislik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
Marmara Üniversitesi Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi, Eğitim Mah. Hızır Bey Cad. No:118/4, Göztepe, Kadıköy / İstanbul, Türkiye
Email: [email protected] · Phone: +90 216 510 2812
2. What data we process
- When you write to us: the name, company, email address, phone number and message you send by email or through the contact form. The contact form does not store anything on a server; it only prepares the message in your own email app, and you decide whether to send it.
- When you visit the website: the site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the time of the request and the page requested.
The website contains no analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media plugins, embedded maps or videos. Fonts are served from our own server, so no information is sent to third-party services while you browse.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your enquiry, preparing quotations and managing our business relationship: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c).
- Keeping the website secure and available: legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f).
- Complying with legal obligations: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c); KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç).
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. We work with these service providers:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery and security.
- Zoho: business email; emails you send us are stored on this service.
These providers may process data on servers outside Türkiye and the EU. Such transfers are made in line with Art. 9 KVKK and the relevant GDPR provisions. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep data
We keep contact data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and for the retention periods required by law. After that, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Cookies
Our website uses no analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies, which is why we do not show a cookie consent banner.
Our hosting provider Cloudflare may set a cookie called __cf_bm when needed to tell automated software (bots) apart from real visitors. It is a strictly necessary security cookie, is not used to identify or track you, and expires on its own after a short time (about 30 minutes).
If we add analytics or similar tools in the future, they will only run after you give consent, and we will update this page.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Under Art. 11 KVKK you can also ask whether your data is processed, for what purpose, and to whom it has been transferred, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected] or write to the postal address above. We reply within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence in the EU, or to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our website changes. The current version is always published on this page.
